For this project I chose an archive of feminist badges from the 1980s. I wanted to create a collection of badges for feminism in today’s society.
I chose three main topics; politics, equal pay and racism. With these topics I researched what has changed between 1980s and 2010s. I learnt about how we have moved forward or not in some cases and tried to make badges based on today’s issues.
So this collection is a combination of the 1980s badges and my 2010s badges.
