In this project we have explored habitat through the lens of ‘movement’. These works propose immersive experiences that express the movements we witness in our individual environments. We began a response to the brief by documenting our surroundings and focusing on perception. Through photos, videos, drawings, writing and collecting objects on a number of neighbourhood walks we presented vastly different spaces with shared mediums. Over the last few weeks, this research has since evolved into art pieces that utilise sound, texture and installation to communicate a sense of place in a time where we are so physically limited.
