In my project I decided to focus on the way humans respond to transport, I took an interest in rail travel as this also links with the Anthropocene as a much more environmentally friendly way of travel and transport. I wanted the viewer of my film to be taken on a journey, to be able to feel the emotions, the thoughts and the sights people witness while travelling by train. Starting my research, I began to investigate the Anthropocene in more detail to help me understand the importance of the Anthropocene and the current battle against climate change. I did research of scotrail as a company and looked at their ambitions for net zero travel and the steps they were taking to reach this is the time scale they have set and the importance that public transport has in providing carbon neutral forms of transport for people in Scotland.
