This body of work has explored an interest in the action of striking and the impact that the Bin Workers strike has had on the appearance of Glasgow City Centre throughout Cop-26. Research I conducted into activist Mary Barbour and her role in the rent strikes 1915 influenced my narrative. I have worked fluidly and challenged the idea of reinstalling art into the environment in a way which is thought provoking rather than counter productive, articulating what the Anthropocene means to me as an artist additionally to me being participant. I have documented this in a photographic way which is accessible and intended to be easily digestible; not counterproductive.
