Benedict Edwards Link A Purposeful Folly (Multiple sclerosis)

IMAGE: External atmosphere

Two images depicting a small simple, single volume, habitable space for those suffering with Multiple sclerosis. Individuals diagnosed suffer from a variety of physical symptom as the immune system mistakenly targets a healthy part of the body – in this case, the brain and spinal cord of the central nervous system.

The space was designed to serve as an antidote to the feelings of isolation the current pandemic has created,  with the architecture itself providing places to rest, easy acsessability through the use of a ramp and open spaces for events and different uses and activities.
