Our project investigated the distinct proof of human life and the evidence of merging societies in our environment through looking into bridges as a subject matter. As a group, we ventured into Glasgow’s City Centre and were able to capture the physical structures alongside their conceptual purposes to understand why they were built. This led us into researching further into the metaphorical sense of the structure, from which we were able to branch out into researching: opposing sides of the bridge the bridge meeting, and the understanding of chaos and order being bridged; bridging the gap between humanity and other life forms as equal beings; and even why bridges are vital for an integrated society.
