In 2020 it was still so that the woman in a heterosexual couple did most of the domestic workload. Back then, the average woman had spent more than 3 times more time on performing domestic chores than an average man. Now however, the tables have turned as most of the high skilled jobs have been taken over by women. Therefore, the men had no other choice than to take on paternity leaves and take care of the home. It is quite obvious that a woman can be the breadwinner, but can men do chores? Will they be able to handle all the responsibility? Is this a true shift to equality or have we only switched out the passive and active roles?
