The significant human impact on the earth over the past two centuries has been demonstrated by a series of events, from extinction of wildlife to pandemics. Human activity is fundamentally linked to nature as everything we do is tired into and impacts our surroundings. The impact that is often visible in the form non-biogradable materials, permitting to stay intact in the environment for over hundreds of years. This publication explores the role the built environment contributes to technofossils and how we can redefine the industry to shift from the current state to adapting further ecological feasible solutions.
