I am working from the belief that everyone looks at art differently, no experience is the same. Expanding the definition of human (theme 1) to include people with colour blindness, I am focusing on making art that mimics the cards through colour, pattern and the experience of sight, parts of a painting revealing itself only when you look closely. I am using red-blue and yellow-green colour blindness as the foundation of my colour palette, this allows me to explore the relationship between these colours and how they harmonise with each other. I have thought about typography and sight throughout my work, making text that is visible yet sometimes hard to see or identify.
