Our group chose to focus on small details and patterns, as when exploring our surroundings, it was something that we all thought would be interesting to look into further. We wanted to be able to take details and patterns, recreate them and put them back into our habitats as something more exciting.
The group interpreted it individually, through different ways of making such as clay sculptures, Lino printing and Photoshop, and brought these works together to create final pieces to help bring attention to the smaller details and patterns we may not always notice when in our surroundings. We visualised our work as being large scale, in a gallery space and experiment with having them in natural locations.
