What makes good architecture in the 21st century? That was one of questions that followed me through this project. By designing useful, durable and beautiful buildings architects have managed to build homes for people for centuries. But are those keywords doing an architects job description justice today? Through extensive research I have studied three architectural eras by focusing on different buildings. I have looked at the use of material and how they impact the global climate change.
There are three keywords I want to introduce; modesty, efficiency and true purpose. An architect should want to build modest buildings. An architect should build efficient in regards of climate change. An architect should build with the buildings true purpose in mind.
