Having each chosen a building from the 3 eras, we began our research, choosing aspects from each building in which we thought we could take inspiration from for a more sustainable future. We then started to comply this information in what we have called a “framework of sustainable design for the future” illustrating different materials and building techniques. Using this framework we then endeavoured to highlighting the fact that we can and should be creating ways in which architecture can be designed to complement the landscape more effectively. Therefore better preserving the natural order in a time of increasing land loss and city expansion.
