Co-Lab 2 challenged us to work together as a group to produce a visual outcome which represents ‘Our Habitat’. We explored our surroundings and decided to create a three-minute video documenting our journeys. The video represents the past, present and future of the human made habitat and the constant submission of our species to nature. We chose to portray the footage in black and white to represent the anonymity of colour within our future fossils. The intention of the video is to educate viewers on the many destructive cycles that humans continually participate in which has impacted the Anthropocene in ways we cannot comprehend, and how nature eventually prevails over this destruction.
