Axl Kasper Link Existential Crisis

Despite the current global climate change crisis, most people appear indifferent to the threats caused by human actions and continue to go about their daily routines regardless [1]. To provide a basis for this study, research focused on the French writer Albert Camus and the American photographer Francesca Woodman, whose works “The Stranger” and “Some Disordered Interior Geometries” examine the themes defining this portfolio. However, Camus and Woodman are not the sole artists behind this movement, many more artists, such as Ralph Gibson, were also the focus of my research. My work, set in abandoned, derelict but dreamy ethereal spaces, illustrates the feelings of human loneliness, confusion and isolation from the world around them.
