Both the Experimental House, Yaodong complex and Dorze Huts adhere to the idea that a family comes together to reflect on their history. This introduces the idea that buildings should be made to help centre and ground beings. Putting beings at the centre allows them to build a strong and positive relationship between them and the building. An example of this is Biophilic Architecture, which uses greenery to connect humans with nature as it known to reduce negative feelings and emotions. People find solace in special places and architecture should follow this idea, not just designing something visually attractive.
